They were built during the period of requalification works of the Port of Lisbon, which was inaugurated in 1887 by King D. Luís I.
At the beginning of the 20th century, these docks only served to shelter small vessels. Today they are a leisure and entertainment space for all Lisbon residents and visitors.
All because the old warehouses that were part of the Port of Lisbon were restored in 1995 to make way for one of the liveliest areas in Lisbon, with restaurants, cafes, bars and clubs.
Whether for lunches and dinners or for drinks in the late afternoon or having a good time with friends at night, the docks stand out for their magnificent views of the Tagus and our beloved bridge, which keeps us company all the time.
