Reservations / Book

Thank you for choosing Portugal Yacht Charters™ to help you organize your vacation program. You can make your reservation and payment after arrange all details with us. Portugal Yacht Charters accepts online payments only through secure links sent by our reservation center.

We accept all credit and debit cards on the market. If you want to pay the boat rental directly to Portugal Yacht Charters with several cards and/or on deferred dates, it is also possible.

Choose one of the programs we have prepared, adapt it to your taste with the “ad-ons” you want.

Spend an amazing day with friends and family by renting a yacht from any Portuguese marina, enjoy fantastic fishing with friends. If you want something “tailor-made”, give us a call.

If you use the online booking platform, follow the instructions. We will be notified as soon as you make your inquiry and we will contact you.a. Payment for the boat rental does not have to be made in full immediately and will not be requested without a telephone contact from us. After choosing a program and date, we ask you to confirm your reservation with a 30% deposit. The 70% of the remaining amount is paid before the start of the tour.

Payments can be made by bank transfer, as long as your credit is confirmed before the vessel’s departure date.

The vessel does not leave the berth without the service being paid in full.

Deposit amounts are non-refundable, except under conditions – see Portugal Yacht Charters “Cancellation Fee” below. Mainly, keep in mind that the cancellation policy varies from supplier to supplier, as we depend on third-party company rules. clarify your doubts

Penalty for Cancellation

If the customer arrives one hour (for a half-day program) or two hours (for a one-day program) after the departure time, the program will be canceled without refund. In either case, if the client arrives late, the time will be deducted from the total duration of the program.

If, for reasons of force majeure, Portugal Yacht Charter cannot carry out the program (due to illness, accident, safety problems with the boat, etc.), all amounts paid will be refunded in full.

No other conditions, penalties or compensation are accepted.

Meteorology / Weather

Safety on board vessels depends on the weather.

Portugal Yacht Charters regularly monitors and analyzes weather conditions. Two or three days before any event we know what weather forecast to expect.

If warnings of navigation hazards that could put the occupants and the vessel at risk are issued by the National Civil Protection Authority, or by the Maritime Authority, namely by the Captaincies of the respective Ports, we will try to reschedule the rental of the vessel. If this is not possible, the reservation price will be refunded.

Important information

Private belongings, including clothes and hygiene products, must be chosen carefully (avoid too much or too little) and packed in a soft bag. More fragile items (cameras, cell phones, etc.) should be kept in waterproof bags.

Don’t forget to bring a hat and sunscreen (whatever time of year), sunglasses, warm clothes and waterproofs. All shoes MUST have a white or natural colored rubber sole, if it is hot go barefoot on the boat.

The vessels have a pharmacy and the crew has specific training in First Aid.

The yachts are equipped with all regulatory safety materials, namely pharmacy and related equipment, individual life jackets, life rafts, automatic radio beacon for emergency location and “very-lights”. Maritima-turistica (MT) vessels are inspected and certified annually.

In case of an emergency or accident (on our vessel or on others we have to assist) keep calm. Help the most sensitive children, teenagers and adults to stay stable. Make yourself available to the crew to help.
